 Susumu Sato’s bold, distinctive style has also helped to position him in the area of still  life, were he has served an array of commercial clients with  setups of flowers to high tech, cosmetics and hair products.  Such clients have included Airwick/American Household Products, with an extensive flower campaign for their air freshener products, who feature Sato’s personal flower images in their corporate collection, an  unforgettable campaign for Chiquita Brands, that earned him a Gold Medal and was featured in American Photo,  Dipi-Di-Do / “Just do it “ campaign for Gillette and other companies like  Banca Serfin, Bordeaux Wines , Hertz & Hitachi, IBM.ect.ect.   There have also been the editorial still lifes for covers of the New York Times Magazine, Money and Self.
